- This riding arena needed to be expanded, defined and required new footing
- The existing arena had pretty good drainage, so the grading was minor
- We removed the topsoil in the area to be expanded
- Then we installed rail road ties to define the arena
- We added stone base in the expanded area
- Then we installed 4″ of course sand footing (as per Owner’s instruction)
- We graded and re-stoned the entrance path
- Finally, we installed a simple fence to define the entrance to the arena
